There Is A Natural Climate

Blank. Inactivity. Devoid of thought. Poised. Expectant. Unable and unwilling to know what will follow. Without desire for preconceived direction.

This is not in itself Christian contemplation.

Nor does it necessarily have anything to do with the true self.

This placidity is unaware of the nature of our basic self. Nevertheless, it might be just self-denying enough that there is the possibility of a jarring awakening to the false and fabricated nature of our enculturated, exteriour self. The exposure of our naked, fabricated nothingness. And at that point it is possible that our minds can be turned and awaken to the need to dispell it as an illusion. And it is at that point that we may recognize that in fact it was some thing that was never there at all. An attachment. A self-deception. Circumscribed and taught to us. A self that has baited us on and that we willingly accepted.

This possibility is naturally available to every person.
