The Irony Of Living Contemplatively...

...is that you do not set out to achieve any sort of mastery or exclusivity in anything. You simply want to be your true self. And when you do that then all that you need to know about God, people, and the world is granted to you when you need it. And if nothing is granted, then it is really not needed. The wisdom of this way is not the knowledge of a person who is driven to possess knowledge or an education, but of someone who strives to possess nothing because they need nothing. Everything you need comes from God, even before you need it.
