Only Another Distraction

When it comes to breaking out of the highly manipulated fiction of the modern church there have been innumerable social attempts to identify with those who are not critical to maintaining appearances. For example, small communities in one form or another - such as worker groups of active religious - have gone and lived with the poor (and sometimes in doing so have taken a job away from someone else?). It is clearly a more honest way of living out one's faith than in fabricating adaptive ideologies that sanitize one's middle-class actions in the name of God. But again, because it is an organizational movement and something planned, so it is still most disingenuous because it lacks the element of God's actual incarnation in the moment along with the ignoring of how each person is being individually addressed by God in the here and now.
