Nothing To Adapt To

There is an interior solitude that is beyond being analyzed or intellectualized. It is found only in becoming fully emptied. It requires a fortitude that is far beyond ordinary life. Togetherness at this juncture only creates angst. Jung states that it is simultaneously a charism and a curse, that it is the conscious and unavoidable segregation of the id from the undifferentiated herd. This by definition brings about isolation. There is no way to ameliorate this awakening. There is no adaptation because there is nothing to adapt to.
