Contemplation is ultimately none other than deepening a consciousness for love. It keeps alive this immanent experience, which theology cannot do through an intimate, quiet, humble, participative understanding. This is the direct, pure gift of truth. This has nothing to do with teaching or preaching, but is a lived and experienced reality of God.
