If you have not done so, then suppose what it might be like to vanish into God for just a moment. All of the other struggles that have defined you and your life become blunders. But now this sweet obscurity.

Absolute rest.

Centredness.

Not a mask, not a presumption in sight!

Plain and level ground. Good soil.

Here is the trick. The rub has ben exposed; you cannot desire God's will be done for God's sake. Only God can do that.

So.

We are emptied into God. And transformed into God's joy. And when this happens we are fulfilled.

And only when this happens.
