A Word Of Caution

Alienation is universal across societies today. People have no genuine understanding of how to relate to one another or the world. Society has become nothing other than a well organized evasion in which each part plays its role in this evasion. People not only become ill by participating in the various components, but they go on to choose to become yet more alienated rather than risk discovery of their true relationships with one another, the world, and God. The eventual outcome is always neurosis in one form or another. Today entire societies and their component organizations have become entirely neurotic. And there is no doubt that organized forms of contemplative prayer can in and of themselves become a part of this web.
